Mark Twain once wrote “Never regret anything that makes you smile.” As Christians we need to remember and celebrate all that is good in the world.
A former Pope described us as an Easter people, we should always be joyful assured of the certainty of eternity and our unique place in it.
This week let us try and communicate that joy and love with a constant smile in our hearts, on our lips and in our eyes (Masks can’t mask your joy if your smile spreads to your eyes.
The book of Genesis reminds us
And he said, “Be of good cheer, fear not: Your God and the God of your fathers hath put you that treasure in your sacks” – Gen 43:23
