‘DIY’ Nativity Play – Christmas Eve – 6.00-6.30pm – St Mary’s Church

A usual feature of Christmas celebrations is the staging of a Nativity Play.   This year at St Mary’s Church we are putting on a Nativity with a difference.   It’s a “DIY” Nativity Play in which you can take part by coming dressed as your favourite Nativity character.   It’s a chance to imagine more closely what it might have been like on that first Christmas for Mary, Joseph, the Kings, the Shepherds and the Angels.   It does not matter how many of each character come, there is room for all.   And don’t worry if you don’t have a costume – we’ll lend you one the day
